Shelf Life & Storage
- Unopened: Up to 10 years or more when stored in the original sealed pouch out of direct sunlight and in a rodent-free area. Modern multi-layer mylar packaging can often extend usable life beyond this under ideal conditions.
- After opening: Reseal the pouch using the built-in closure; with the oxygen absorber and desiccant in place, remaining contents will generally keep 3 months to 1 year depending on conditions. Using a home vacuum sealer or replacing oxygen absorbers can extend storage life.
Handling Tips
- Keep pouches dry and sealed when not in use.
- For longer-term storage after opening, transfer to an airtight container with fresh oxygen absorbers.
