Usage

Simply rehydrate with room temperature water following the instructions on the label, then serve. These eggs are also convenient to eat straight from the pouch for a quick meal on the go. Ideal for emergency food storage, hiking, backpacking, camping, or keeping a ready meal at work.

Packaging and Protection

The fried eggs are individually protected in food-grade PVC film and then packed in a multi-layer Mylar pouch to protect flavor and extend shelf life. Some light cracking of fragile pieces may occur during handling or transit; this will not affect taste or nutrition.

Storage & Shelf Life

  • Store in factory-sealed packaging, out of direct sunlight. Unopened pouches have a shelf life of 25+ years.
  • After opening: reseal pouch with integrated zip closure and keep oxygen absorber and desiccant in the pouch. Once opened, remaining product life may range from about 3 months up to a year depending on handling and storage conditions. Using a home vacuum sealer can extend the remainder shelf life to multiple years.
