How to Rehydrate
- Place desired amount of freeze-dried chicken in a bowl.
- Add warm water to fully cover and allow to rehydrate for a few minutes (refer to package label for exact times).
- Drain any excess water, then cook in a pan or on the grill until heated through.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store unopened bags in a cool, dry, dark place. When unopened and kept in factory packaging, the product has a 25-plus year shelf life. After opening, reseal the bag with the integrated closure, keep the included oxygen absorber in the bag if present, and use remaining portions within about 90 days for best quality. For extended storage after opening, consider resealing with a home vacuum sealer.
