With this product you will be purchasing one bulk package of 6 freshly freeze dried ready-to bake gourmet pre-formed raisin scones with a net weight of 19.5 ounces, packaged for long term storage.
This bag contains six (19.5 ounces) freeze dried uncooked scones, which is the equivalent of 39 ounces or almost 2-1/2 pounds of ready to bake pre-formed raisin scones that can easily be ready for you to serve fresh out of the oven if purchased at your local gourmet bakery once rehydrated and baked. Each ounce of these gourmet freeze dried scones will weigh approximately 2 ounces of freshly prepared ready to bank scones when rehydrated.
This package of scones has already been mixed and pre-formed for you prior to being freeze dried, so they are perfect to take on a hike or a camping trip without the hassle, mess and waste of having to lug a cooler around with a lot of ice to try and keep them fresh. We've done all work preparing this for you prior to baking! You get zero waste, unlike preparing your own ready to bake scones from scratch if the power is out!
Simply rehydrate as few scones (or as many) as you want to bake with warm (not hot) water for a few minutes (instructions on the label) and bake! Amazing over a camp fire with just a Dutch oven or even a simple pan and lid if an oven is not available!
