Ingredients

Cooked whole wheat orzo pasta (water, durum whole wheat semolina), broccoli, red bell pepper, carrots, cooked brown and red rice, cooked black barley, yellow carrots, cooked brown lentils, cooked red quinoa, less than 2% brown sugar, dehydrated vegetables (garlic, onion, bell pepper, parsley), natural flavor, potassium chloride salt, sea salt, spice, vegetable oil (canola and/or soybean oil).

Storage & Shelf Life

Unopened: shelf life up to 10 years when stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Store pouches in a rodent-free area.
After opening: reseal the pouch with the integrated zipper and keep the oxygen absorber and desiccant if present. Expect remaining portions to retain quality for roughly 3 months for meat-containing items and up to 1 year for non-meat items depending on storage conditions. Using a home vacuum sealer to remove residual oxygen can extend opened storage life.

Preparation

Rehydrate with water for a few minutes according to package instructions, then heat and serve.
Yield: one ounce of freeze-dried product rehydrates to roughly four ounces ready-to-eat.
