This package contains one half pound by volume when rehydrated (approximately 40 ounces or 2.5 pounds ready-to-eat). Each ounce of freeze-dried fries rehydrates to roughly five ounces of freshly fried fries. Ideal for backpacking, camping, emergency food storage, or quick meal additions.

Storage & Care

Unopened, the product is packaged for long shelf life when stored out of direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place. After opening, reseal the pouch and keep any included oxygen absorber or desiccant in the bag; shelf life after opening depends on storage conditions but will be significantly shorter than unopened storage.

Unopened bags: up to 10 years when stored in the original packaging out of direct sunlight. Actual shelf life may be longer depending on storage conditions.
After opening: reseal the bag tightly and retain oxygen absorbers; remaining product is best used within 3 months to 1 year depending on humidity and how well the bag is sealed. Using a home vacuum sealer to re-seal will extend shelf life.
