Use and Preparation

Meat items should be used within approximately 90 days after opening unless re-sealed with a vacuum sealer.
To extend storage life after opening: Use a home vacuum sealer to remove residual oxygen; this can extend usable life substantially (5+ years in many cases) when combined with dry, cool storage.
